Thanks for sharing the 60 Minutes interview. 4:40-4:49 really worried me. Her fans are so emotionally invested in this woman, it's kind of scary. Anyone else feel that way? A little lol They were acting like they were at church about to receive some healing lol This! It was like she was preaching to them or something. It was just too weird >.<

Lady Gaga Celebrates Topping Billboard's Hot 100 ChartLady Gaga's "Born this Way" will be the 1000th No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100 when the chart is refreshed this week. "BORN THIS WAY IS #1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100!" she Tweeted. "THANK YOU, I'm overwhelmed by your support. I'LL BE ON JAY LENO TONIGHT"Accompanying the message was a Twitpic of Gaga backstage at Leno's studio. In the picture, Gaga can be seen showing off her three Grammy Awards from Sunday, as well as showing off the new 'horned' concept that she's taken on for the 'Born this Way' era. Although "Born this Way" only had three days of sales, it still managed to shift over 450,000 copies, setting the record for the highest debut sales week ever for a female artist. The big sales combined with the song's record-breaking success at radio were easily enough to garner it the number one position on the Hot 100. "Born this Way" is the third number one single of Lady Gaga's career, following her hits "Just Dance" and "Poker Face," which both topped the charts way back in 2009. Source

Madonna’s Rep “Unaware” Of Email Sent To Lady Gaga! Over the past week there has been speculation that Lady Gaga may have been lying, or just genuinely mistaken, when she told Jay Leno that Madonna had e-mailed her to give her official blessing to Gags new single “Born this Way,” which has been criticized in the media for it’s blatant similarities to Madonna's “Express Yourself.”“I got an e-mail from (Madonna’s) people and her sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single,” she said. The Examiner were the first to call Gaga’s bluff, quoting Madge’s rep as telling CNN “I am not aware that Madonna sent Gaga an e-mail.”Since the Examiner isn't consider the most reliable source, most people dismissed it as a desperate attempt to cause a scandal. But hard-to-spot official quote has appeared on CNN’s website, proving its existence. The quote comes only days after Madonna uploaded a performance of “Express Yourself” onto her official Youtube channel, sending out what appeared to be a subtle jab at Gaga. Source

Lady Gaga Previews 'Judas' Lyrics & Finishes "Born This Way" Video Before Lady Gaga began filming her HBO concert special at New York's Madison Square Garden last night (Feb. 21), the pop star took to Twitter to preview the lyrics of "Judas," the second single from her forthcoming sophomore album, "Born This Way.""I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel, but I'm still in love with Judas, Baby," Gaga wrote yesterday. The singer had revealed in the March issue of Vogue that "Judas" would follow the title track as the album's next single, saying of the song, "It's more electronic, but I have married a very theatrical vocal to it. It's like a giant musical-opus theater piece."Gaga also told her Little Monsters that she had "just finished editing Born This Way video! Announcement soon!" on Twitter yesterday, although she did not spill any details of the single's official music video. The pop star officially released "Born This Way" on Feb. 11th before debuting the song live at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 13th. Source

Lady Gaga Stops Target Funding Anti-Gay Groups Lady Gaga has signed a new deal with Target to distribute an exclusive version of her upcoming album Born This Way. However, as part of the deal, Target have had to agree to stop funding any groups or companies with anti-gay connections, and begin donating to pro-LGBT groups. Last election season, Target made headlines for donating $150,000 of corporate funds to support political action committee NM Forward, who had previously supported a 2010 Minnesota political candidate Tom Emmer who had made a donation to a Christian rock organization that advocated violence and death to the LGBT community. Gaga told Target to stop being affiliated with anyone or anything holding any anti-LGBT connections, Target agreed, Gaga signed on the dotted line, and as a result we’ll all get a fabulous Target-exclusive edition of 'Born this Way' with extra tracks and remixes to listen to this May. “That discussion was one of the most intense conversations I’ve ever had in a business meeting,” Lady Gaga said after meeting with Target executives. “Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they’ve made in the past … our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those [antigay] groups.” Source

Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ Continues To Set RecordsLady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ can’t be stopped. After crushing the records previously held by Britney Spears, the singer’s 1st single from her new album of the same name has matched the accomplishments of another Pop titan – Beyonce. ‘Born…’ has experienced a 14% increase in digital sales this week, climbing from 448k to 509k downloads. This makes the track the 1st #1-debuting single Digital Songs chart to achieve that feat since Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ in 2008. The airplay figures for ‘Born…’ also managed to rise by 7% to 84 million audience impressions, helping it to maintain its position at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. By comparison, Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ fell to #6 on the tally in its 2nd week.
