Jennifer Lopez Scores 1st Top 10 Hit In 8 Years With ‘On The Floor’Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ is continuing to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 but another superstar entertainer is hot on her heels. Jennifer Lopez’s ‘On The Floor (Ft. Pitbull)’ has debuted in the top 10 of the chart, becoming her 1st single to reach the tally’s summit in 8 years. ‘On The Floor’ enters this week’s Hot 100 lineup at #9, giving Lopez her 1st top 10 single since ‘All I Have (Ft. LL Cool J)’ which hit #1 in 2003. The track, which sold an impressive 170k downloads, is also her 1st top 20 entry since 2005’s ‘Get Right’ in 2005. With increasing airplay and consistent sales, Lopez seems on course to challenge Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ for the top spot in the coming weeks. However, ‘Born…’ continues to break records by becoming the 1st song to debut at #1 and remain at the chart’s peak for 3 weeks since Aerosmith’s ’I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ in 1998. ‘Born…’ is also the first sing by a female artist to do this since Mariah Carey’s ‘Honey’ which was released in 1997. ‘Honey’ was Carey’s 3rd #1 single to debut at the top position, giving her more #1 starter entries than any other act in history.

New Video: Jennifer Lopez – ‘On The Floor (Ft. Pitbull)’Jennifer Lopez’s long-awaited video for ‘On The Floor (Ft. Pitbull)’ debuted just moments ago. The visual was directed by Taj and choreographed by Frank Gatson. Check out the production below: I will say that this video is better than Gaga's and Britney's.

Jennifer Lopez Ends Lady GaGa’s iTunes ReignLady GaGa may be 1 of the biggest stars in Pop music today but even she could not prevent Jennifer Lopez from reclaiming her position at the top of the charts. Following the premiere of Lopez’s video for ‘On the Floor (Ft. Pitbull)’ last evening, the triple threat diva has ousted GaGa’s ‘Born The Way’ from the #1 spot on iTunes. ‘Born…’ became an automatic success when released for digital download on February 11th, quickly selling 448k copies in just 3 days. Since its debut, the single consistently dominated iTunes, allowing GaGa to control the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 consecutive weeks. However, despite peaking at #2 on iTunes last week and experiencing a gradual decline in sales thereafter, ‘On The Floor’ was catapulted to the top spot after the bonus promotion of the video’s premiere on ‘American Idol’. Let the battle for the #1 on Hot 100 begin! ThatGrapeJuice

BAM! She knocked Gaga right off the itunes chart. LOVE ITTT because i honestly think OTF is a way better song/video than BTW. Jennifer is dancing for her lifeeee in that video. And she looks unbelievably gorgeous. So proud of her! Did anyone catch Extra today? Jennifer did an appearance at The Grove right after Idol and the crowd she drew was INSANE. It looked like a concert. It's so nice to see she's still got all these fans that love her.

I knew this song would get her back on the charts. I would love it if Janet did the same thing like J Lo.

Jennifer Lopez Announces New SingleJennifer Lopez is currently dominating both radio and iTunes with ‘On The Floor’ but she isn’t planning on getting comfortable anytime soon. Indeed, the superstar, who is plotting a world tour to support her upcoming ‘Love?’ album, is gearing up to release her 2nd single. Lopez is planning to put forward ‘I’m Into You (Ft. Lil Wayne)’ as the next single from ‘Love?’. However, the song won’t be the last track to hit the airwaves before the LP is released as she revealed that as many as 3 singles will be issued before the project drops by “late May”. Although there is currently no specific date for the release of the album, Lopez plans to record Spanish versions of some of the tracks on the project. In fact, she noted that her next album will be actually be a recorded completely in Spanish and is likely to be recorded after her next movie which she hopes to do later this year.
