I'm not surprised by this list. I knew Gaga would be #1. I'm kinda surprised that Britney is ahead of Beyonce.

None of them deserves the title "Queen of Pop". Just look at this list. What has happened with contemporary Pop music? In the 70's we had Diana, Dionne, Aretha, Gladys, Donna, Carly, Linda, Stevie and so on. In the 80's we had Janet, Madonna, Whitney, Gloria, Cyndi, Pat and so on. In the 90's there were Mariah, Toni, TLC and so on. And now? Lady GaGa as equivalent to Madonna? Beyonce as equivalent to Janet? Taylor Swift as a "new" Linda Ronstadt or Stevie Nicks? I'm sorry, but I can't help but think that there's something terribly worng with today's music if these mostly talentless performers are considered as Queen of Pop. Whatever happened to good old days...

i kinda figured she'd be number1. I'm surprised Beyonce isn't higher though. I would have put her at number two or tied for number 1.

beyonce is soooo over rated, i dont really get all the fuss about her... she's a total babe, but other than that she's a bit dull musically

I like Beyonce and kinda see what you mean, but you can't deny her popularity. She'll go down in history like Janet and Madonna.

d**n...it's pretty sad that Christina is all the way at the bottom of the list In an article that is sure to spark a "DIVA DEBATE," Rolling Stone magazine has compiled a list to crown the ‘New Queen of Pop’ The last half-decade of popular music has been an era of female dominance: Britney. I know. I love Christina's work and vocal chops over Beyonce's. I feel like she's so underrated.
