Justin Timberlake Confirms 'The 20/20 Experience' SequelToday may mark the global release of Justin Timberlake'snew album 'The 20/20 Experience', but the singer already has his sights set on its follow-up. Over the weekend, Root's star QuestLove sensationally revealed that a sequel for the 'Suit & Tie' led set is scheduled for November -- touting the release of 10 tracks now, 10 tracks later (= 20). With the news spreading like a wildfire, the singer had no choice but to address suggestion of '20/20' sequel at his iHeartRadio album release party last night in Los Angeles. Find out what he said after the jump¡... Talking to Ryan Seacrest during the live-streamed show, the 32 year old said: "I've got to clear up the rumors. This whole thing about this only being the first part ... is true. There is another half. I'm not giving you a release date" {Source}************ While it'd take a lot to convince us that this isn't driven by a desire to race through record contract obligations (see: movies pay better and faster), we'd be lying if we said we aren't amped. More so from a marketing standpoint than a musical one. Releasing part 1 amidst the expected "comeback" hysteria (and a worldwide stadium tour) will likely see the project achieve blockbuster success between now and end of the year; part 2, we imagine, will come packaged with the first to beef up overall sales. Even if rolled-out as a standalone project, it¡¯ll be able to compensate for the lack of "first album in 7 years" hype by piggy-backing on the success of its first installment. Put simply, it's a win-win -- on paper. Profit, of course, is always the main motive for such releases, yet when artists and their teams find clever ways to mask and market this it reminds us that there are still creative folk at work in an often routinized industry. Major: Justin Timberlake Breaks Digital Pre-Order Record With ‘The 20/20 Experience’If there’s one thing that’s clear about Justin Timberlake‘s new album ‘The 20/20 Experience’, it’s that it’s destined to be a chart smash. Already predicted by insiders to shift more than 500,000 copies first week, it has now emerged that the set has already broken digital records on merit of pre-orders alone. Details after the jump… According to Hits Daily Double, '20/20' has topped the previous 136k digital pre-order record set by One Direction last year by “a few thousand units”. Even more impressive is that JT’s effort did so within a five and a half week window, roughly half the time 1D had. **************** As echoed in our review of the ‘Experience’, we’re not sure the album meets the lofty expectations it thinks it meets. Still, first and foremost we’re keen appreciators of talent here at TGJ; hence it’s warming to see legit talent topping the charts — and in a major way. With another collection of songs on the horizon, we just hope the second installment of the project brings with it better songs and unmissable HITS. ThatGrapeJuice

New Video: Justin Timberlake – ‘Mirrors’
The promo train that is Justin Timberlake only continues to build steam with the release of its second single’s visual ‘Mirrors’.
The stunning accompanying video, said to be a tribute to the long-lasting love story of Timberlake’s grandparents, saw its release today shortly after its parent album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ hit record shelves to much fanfare.
Check it out below:
As fans may know, William and Sadie Bomar are Justin’s grandparents who, due to their respective illnesses, were unable to attend his wedding to actress Jessica Biel. This clip acts as not only a great tribute to them, but an overall well put together visual that only reasserts what need not be – Justin is currently pop’s premier act.
We like. Do you?

For, the first sales estimates for the ¡®Suit & Tie¡¯ led set have been reported. What are you waiting for? Find out what they are after the jump¡. According to Hits Daily Double, one-day sales of ¡¯20/20¡ä see it on course to boast first week US numbers of¡ 750,000 ¨C 800,000 ********** While clever marketing has been employed to amazing effect with the promotion for this campaign, we must give kudos to JT himself. For, beyond the smoke and mirrors, the masses seem to be enjoying the actual music too ¨C which is the kind of qualities any project looking to enjoy lengthy success could hope for. Do we expect mega-selling singles? No. However, as relayed in our album review, Justin serves up an unapologetically cohesive ¡®Experience¡¯ that seems more concerned with being a sonically solid body of work. Something its sales confirm it has achieved. ThatGrapeJuice

Justin Timberlake Tops UK Album Chart / Out Sells Top 5…CombinedIt official. Justin Timberlake's blockbuster chart takeover is not only a US phenomenon. The 20/20 Experience, the singer’s first album is seven years, has blazed its way right to the top of the Official UK Album Chart last night with numbers that cement his international Pop royal status. Details after the jump… The set, which birthed British #1 ‘Mirrors’, was announced as occupier of the top spot tonight after selling through 106,000 copies – a figure which is more than the rest of the top five combined. As previously reported, the 32-year-old is gearing up to unleash a sequel to '20/20' later this year. ************ While congrats are certainly due for Justin, we say more homage should be paid to those promoting the project. For, not in a long while has there been a campaign for an artist of JT’s caliber as on-point as this. Indeed, questionable material aside, those spearheading the project’s push paired their pockets with their brains ultimately resulting in the success the LP is enjoying now. If only more teams could follow suit. Justin Timberlake returns to the UK this Summer for a headlining stint at the Wireless Festival in July. US fans can catch the star on the Legends Of The Summer Tour with Jay-Z - which also kicks off in July. ThatGrapeJuice

Mind-blowing: Justin Timberlake Album Estimates Revised Up Again / Eyeing 950,000 Debut ;D With just two days remaining before the first-week numbers for Justin Timberlake‘s new album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ are tallied up in total, retailers have once again revised the sales predictions. Initially earmarked for sales of 500k, the numbers were then adjusted upwards to 750k once the LP went on sale. In more recent days, though, word of mouth has seen sales ascend; so much so that the album is on-course to almost double initial label estimates. Details after the jump… According to a report today by Hits Daily Double, '20/20' is now set to open with blockbuster sales in the region of 950,000 + in the US next week. Not only would the numbers guarantee a #1 on the Billboard 200, it would see JT’s release stand as one of the biggest selling American debuts this decade, only bested by two Taylor Swift albums (1.2m, 1.05m) and one a piece from Lady GaGa and Lil Wayne (1.1m, 964k). ************ As elated as we are that actual talent is once again topping charts (and doing so in a major way), something smells a bit fishy. Indeed, we’d be lying if we said that we weren’t at least a little suspicious that the constant “sales updates” are a deliberate and collaborative effort by team JT and industry outlets to heighten the “everyone has it, so I must too” buyer psychology. Make no mistake about it, given that the final figures are almost guaranteed to be in the ball-park of those touted above, such strategy (if indeed being used) is by no means a bad thing. It’s genius and yet more evidence that Justin has the best of the best behind him – regardless of how debatable the material he’s churning out is. And with JT set to be “around” for much of this year going into the next, one has to wonder what implications this has for the competition will be. Usher, friend, we’re looking your way! The Final Numbers Are In: Justin Timberlake’s ’20/20 Experience’ Sold…Ample hype has seen Justin Timberlake'sstar glow even brighter in recent weeks. Indeed, a stellar promotional campaign was installed to mobilize ‘The 20/20 Experience’ – his first album in seven years. Naturally, then, all eyes are on what numbers the ‘Suit & Tie’ led set was able to shift in its premiere week. Well, wonder no more. The final figures are in. Was Justin able to sustain his incredible momentum? The answer awaits below… According to Billboard, JT’s ‘Experience’ is confirmed to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 this weeks with sales of…. 968,000 ******** It’s official: ‘The 20/20 Experience’ is a chart blockbuster. Incredible by most counts, the album’s sales are especially impressive when considering that the LP isn’t being mobilized by obvious radio hits. It of course goes without saying that the project’s performance will spark debate about just how much of the numbers are due to marketing hype vs organic interest. Yet, such argument -as insightful as it is- will be somewhat inconsequential. Because, whichever way it’s diced or sliced, Justin is slaying – and in a major way. Echoing earlier sentiments, it will be super interesting to see what this means for his competition (see: Usher, Chris Brown, and the like). It also makes one wonder if JT will be able to sustain interest for the album’s upcoming sequel. For now, though, we can’t but congratulate JT and his PR team for a job well done. ThatGrapeJuice

Or should we say Platinum. Double Platinum, if wefre speaking factually. Put simply, at this point, he could record himself in the bathroom for three minutes and itfd likely hit top ten. Quite the position to be in. More power to him. Take a listen to eTunnel Visionf after the jumpc Is eTunnel Visionf the grighth single choice? ThatGrapeJuice
