What are some of your favorite Latin pop songs? It doesn't necessarily have to be songs confined to that genre, but anything Latin influenced that you bop your head to. ;D

I'm a sucker for J.Lo's On the 6 album...does that count? That and the three singles that were popular from Marc Anthony's first English album. lmao

I like a lot of Jennifer's stuff. Shakira has a song, Estoy Aqui, that I love. I also really like her Whenever, Whereever. And pretty much all of Gloria Estephan's singles. Oh! I forgot about one of my favs. It's called Ven Bailalo by Chris y Angel. It's considered more reggaeton, but I love it.

There was a time in my life when I was a huge fan of Latin music. For me Latin Pop has always been synonymous with great Gloria Estefan and especiallay her Spanish language albums like "Mi Tierra" or "Abriendo Puearts" which combine traditional latin influences with modern edge. Sorry but singers like Jennifer Lopez are not that much "latin" for me, they are more like R&B artists. Gloria was quite brave to incorporate a huge part of Cuban heritage to popular music and made it possible for others to follow this trend.

i agree with the Jennifer comment. Even when she tried to be "Jenny from the block" she couldn't fool me
