Whilst many have heralded Beyonce’s Billboard Music Awards performance as being ‘epic’ and worthy of high praise, the 29 year old entertainer has come under fire for supposedly stealing the show-stopping concept from an artist named Lorella Cuccarini. The showing, which saw the ‘Broken Hearted Girl‘ singer perform intense choreography alongside 3D imagery, has been labelled by some as a direct rip-off from a rendition put on by the Italian artist some time ago. Breaking her usually silent stance on such topics, Beyonce has spoken out on the matter. Find out what she had to say after the jump… Via AOL:

This, "this person copied this person" has been going on for decades. It's an on going cycle so it shouldn't be such a big deal. As long as Beyonce or whomever admits they got inspired or got the idea from someone else and don't claim it as their own, I don't see anything wrong with that. You just gotta enjoy what the artist gives you and take it for what it is. If you wanna look for any kinda originality in artists, then you'll very rarely find it in the Top 50 cos most of that stuff in the past few decades have been 'inspired'

She rocks on her Billboard perfomance. Copy or not (even the song is not from her), she worked a lot, and the result is just incredible. She put the show on another level. When I saw Rihanna & Britney performed, i just realized that I wanted to thanx Bee for doing why she do best : entertain ! I think she's actually the best artist on stage, i saw her many times and she's really really good. She has the voice, she know the dance and now, she used visual effects to propose more and more attractive perfomances. Even if I love Janet from the bottom of my heart, i think Bee is actually the most talented perfomer.
