Blimey - congratulations on becoming pregnant & being engaged! Can't wait to see wedding photos! I really want to frame my tickets as well because Janet's sound guy gave me a song list & a drum stick so I want to show them all off! Once again CONGRATULATIONS!

that's great news! CONGRATS!! and not just on the baby/wedding, but on finishing school in the near future. i'm sure you've worked really hard. your field sounds difficult (i was never a science person, haha). lola, you should get a small shadow box to display your drum sticks, tix, and song sheet in. it would look really cool.

Yeah that's what I was thinking - I'm going to ask to have it done for my birthday & then display it with pride! ;D

Have you come up with baby names yet? My husband has already said no to Jackson for a boy which I'm gutted about! What an awesome name that would be! I also like names like Poppy & Daisy but he doesn't like those either...

Oh & you know the whole throwing of the bouquet thing? I always thought that was something I wouldn't want to do but after a while I just got tired of holding it! Luckily my cousins daughter caught them (she would like to marry Justin Bieber apparently!) & she's going to dry them & keep them so I can see them when I visit! How nice is that! ;D

I didn't factor in how low the ceiling was though which meant that it went straight up & straight down! Some of my friends look desperate to catch it!

I've been told though that when you see your new born sometimes you feel as though they don't suit the name you've chosen. My brother wanted one name (can't remember what it was) but when they saw my nephew they thought "no, he looks like a Ben!"

im using bubbles also. we're on a tight budget so we lookin for the cheapest bubbles possible Another way in which we saved money was by buying Cava instead of Champagne for the speeches. They do a great one here in the UK which is sometimes on special deal for £6.99 - its called Freixenet - I think you probably have it in the US? Then we asked our reception location how much they would charge for corkage (the use of their glasses & serving it etc) which ended up being £3 per bottle. That way we spent £10 per bottle as opposed to the £25 they were going to charge us! Swweeeet! ;D Also instead of favours we did an old fashioned sweet (candy) shop. We went to one of those massive shops where you can get stuff in bulk making it cheaper & bought £80 of sweets & then went to Ikea & bought glass jars. We then bought sweety bags & sweety tongs & bunting to make it look pretty. It was a massive success although the kids were hyper on all that sugar! The photo doesn't quite do it justice because it started off looking really pretty but when all my guests starting tucking in they messed it up! The scoundrels! One more thing to save you money. My 6 bridesmaids bought their own dresses. I found a website where all the dresses were different but made out of the same material so that they could all buy their own dresses in the style they like but they all looked kind of the same. That saved me about £600! www.theprettydresscompany.com/acatalog/red-dresses.html
