Fans Want Tarantino To "Gang Bang" Madonna's New Song?!Madonna fans are so in love with the song "Gang Bang" (including myself) that have already decided it must be a single and it must have a special video. They have also decided that only one person can be the director of this video: Quentin Tarantino! A Facebook page that you can access by CLICKING HERE, has been set up to campaign to make this idea coming reality. Click on the link above or below and be part of the TarantinoForGangBang project too! In other music news, Madonna is on course to overtake Elvis Presley with the most UK number one albums by a solo act of all time as her newly-issued MDNA heads to the top this weekend. If, as expected, MDNA does reach number one this Sunday it would be Madonna’s 12th chart-topper, one more than Elvis Presley has managed. Only The Beatles with 15 number ones have topped the chart more times. Source

Madonna Set For No.1 Billboard 200 Debut!Madonna's 12th studio album, "MDNA," is on course to easily debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week. Industry sources suggest the set could sell between 300,000 to 350,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, April 1. If "MDNA" lands atop the list, it will mark the queen of pop's eighth No. 1 album and her fifth consecutive studio set to debut in the penthouse. Her last studio album, 2008's "Hard Candy," started at No. 1 with 280,000 sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, April 4. Madonna's first No. 1 came on the Billboard 200 chart dated Feb. 9, 1985, when her second album, "Like a Virgin," began a three-week run at the top. "MDNA's" first week will be bolstered by a successful album sales promotion involving Madonna's upcoming world tour. U.S. customers who bought a concert ticket also had the option of also receiving "MDNA" as part of their purchase. The only sales that will count towards Billboard's charts are those where the customer opted to receive the album. Source

Madonna Adds 42nd No. 1 on Dance/Club Play Songs Billboard RecordMadonna earns her record-extending 42nd No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart, as "Girl Gone Wild" zips 4-1. The song is the second topper from Madonna's 12th studio album, "MDNA," which bowed atop the Billboard 200 last week with 359,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Just three weeks ago, the set's first single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., reached the chart's summit. The speedy return to the survey's top spot grants Madonna her quickest span of back-to-back No. 1s. She extends her lead for the most No. 1s in the Dance/Club Play Songs chart's 35-year history, pulling further away from runner-up Janet Jackson, who has 19. Beyonce follows with 18 No. 1s, trailed by Rihanna (17), Kristine W (16), Mariah Carey (16) and Whitney Houston (15). Source

Madonna’s'MDNA' Flops With Biggest Second-Week Sales Drop In History After topping the Billboard 200 last week with her latest album 'MDNA,' Madonna is on course to suffer the biggest second-week sales drop in history. According to Forbes, MDNA is set to shift “roughly” 46,000 copies second week, giving it somewhere around a record-breaking 88% drop in sales. Billboard report that about 185k of MDNA’s first-week sales total came from the ticket deal, making MDNA’s album sales about 179k without the extra help, which would’ve seen Lionel Ritchie debut at No. 1 with his new album 'Tuskegee,' which sold 199k. The 88% decrease just narrowly edges out Lady Gaga‘s 'Born This Way' massive drop last Spring, which plummeted 84% in its second week due to similar first week inflation. There are two main contributors to this dwindling figure: One, the tour ticket tie-in, which allowed for concert goers to opt-in for a copy of MDNA with their purchase and ultimately accounted for inflation of her first week sales. Secondly, the whole ‘no promotion’ thing: It’s clear between Guy Oseary‘s Twitter rants about rehearsal, Lourdes‘ demanding school schedule/Urdu lessons and Madonna herself spending more time promoting her perfume than her album that Team M really isn’t concerned about pushing album units off the shelves this era. It’s ALL about the MDNA Tour. But the most important overall lesson is this: Madonna is still breaking records! She just notched her 42nd #1 Billboard Dance Club Songs hit yesterday, and now she’s dropping it low better than any other pop DIVA could. Source

Madonna's 'MDNA' World Tour 2012 Setlist Spoilers! If you don’t want any spoilers, look away now, if you can’t wait for the exclusive, then enjoy… Keep in mind that Madonna is currently in rehearsals and that the final setlist might include some changes. The MDNA Tour opens up with religious chants that lead into "Girl Gone Wild." Just like the album version it includes the Act of Contrition intro and also has a new instrumental part featuring whip-sounds and even some "Material Girl" lyrics. Then comes "Revolver" featuring Lil Wayne, who will appear in the backdrop video, followed by "Gang Bang." The fourth title on the setlist is the first real surprise: an edited version of "Papa Don’t Preach.""Hung up" has completely been reworked to fit the theme of the 'MDNA' tour and next up is guitar-heavy "I Don’t Give A" featuring Nicki Minaj. Some of you might have noticed similarities between "Best Friend" and "Heartbeat" from the 'Hard Candy' album. You’re not the only ones, because the tour version now includes more "Heartbeat" references and even some lyrics. "Express Yourself" has some huge surprises that will have everyone talking, but we won’t spoil these for the moment. After this we go into the Just Blaze remix of "Give me all your Luvin’," followed by "Turn up the Radio."Another surprise on the setlist is a completely reinvented version of "Open Your Heart," which is followed by a track from the 'MDNA' album, "Falling Free." The tour version is very similar to the album version, but has a more prominent violin sound. The second part of the show also includes a totally reinvented version of the William Orbit remix of "Justify my Love," including new lyrics, and a "Nobody Knows Me" video interlude. Source

Madonna Tops Lady Gaga For Biggest 2nd Week Sales DropThis week, Madonna's "MDNA" earns the distinction of the largest second-week percentage sales drop for a No. 1-debuting album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. The album slides from No. 1 to No. 8 on the Billboard 200 with a 86.7% sales decline (falling from 359,000 to 48,000 according to SoundScan). The percentage dip surpasses the record set by Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," when it fell 84.27% in its second week on the chart dated June 18, 2011. "Born This Way" bowed the previous frame at No. 1 with 1.11 million, and then sold 174,000 in its second week at the top of the chart. "Born This Way's" debut was amplified by Amazon MP3's decision to offer the set at 99 cents twice on two separate days during its premiere week. "MDNA's" large fall was expected, as its debut was bolstered by sales gained from a concert ticket/album promotion as well as preorders from iTunes. Further, without a current hit single on our major airplay charts nor any substantial recent promotion on Madonna's part, the drop was bound to be significant. Both "MDNA" and "Born This Way" would have not had such steep drops, had it not been for unusually enhanced first-week sales. Source

Madonna Launches 'Truth Or Dare' Fragrance At Macy'sMadonna hit up Macy's Herald Square last night, April 12th, to launch her signature fragrance, 'Truth Or Dare.' The "Girl Gone Wild" DIVA looked stunning as she arrived to the event in a sheer black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress over a black bodysuit, black peep-toe heels, and skull and crossbones earrings. Like the 'Truth or Dare' commercial, the "Material Girl" seems to be continuing to channel her very erotic '90s self, rocking lots of black, sheer, and sensual looks. Madge says the fragrance was inspired by her late mother and is an intoxicating mixture that is both "feminine and mysterious."The line includes an Eau du Parfum 75ml for $68, 50ml $55, 30ml $39, Body Lotion $28, and Shower Gel for $24, sold exclusively at Macy's.
