Interscope To Recall Madonna’s ‘MDNA World Tour’ From US ShelvesJimmy Iovine‘s Interscope is gearing up to recall every single Blu-ray copy of Madonna‘s ‘MDNA World Tour’, it has emerged today.
Why?
All the details below…
Released on September 10, all Blu-ray editions of the record breaking stage show are to be recalled after fans noticed a technical error in the release.
An error, the compromised the piece’s audio, leading fans of the Pop icon to call on Interscope to fix the problem, which they have now revealed can be blamed on the project’s manufacturing.
Taking to their official Facebook account, the label explained:
“Interscope Records would like to make consumers of Madonna’s MDNA World Tour Blu-ray disc aware that the concert will be seen at its most optimal quality by properly adjusting the settings on your television to “Normal/Movie” mode rather than “Dynamic/Enhanced” mode. Older Blu-ray players or those without a firmware upgrade may experience glitches when navigating the Blu-ray menu. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to upgrade firmware.
Due to an error in manufacturing that has compromised the 5.1 audio in the US, a full recall of the Blu-ray disc will be issued in the US. No other markets will be affected. We apologize for this inconvenience.”

Madonna Bares All For Harper’s Bazaar / Details Traumatic Rape
As talk of an ‘MDNA‘ follow up heats up on many a fan forum, Madonna graces the pages of Harper’s Bazaar’s November issue next month, hitting the magazine for a spread that will no doubt shock some, but inspire many.
For in this spread, she details a story oft overlooked in the story of her rise to the top, explaining how she was raped at knife point months after moving to New York City.
Her story below…
Speaking to the Glenda Bailey ran publication, she revealed:
“New York wasn’t everything I thought it would be. It did not welcome me with open arms. The first year, I was held up at gunpoint. Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back.”
She added:
“New York wasn’t anything I was prepared for. Trying to be a professional dancer, paying my rent by posing nude for art classes, staring at people staring at me naked. Daring them to think of me as anything but a form they were trying to capture with their pencils and charcoal. I was defiant. Hell-bent on surviving. On making it. But it was hard and it was lonely, and I had to dare myself every day to keep going.
“One of the many things I learned from all of this. If you aren’t willing to fight for what you believe in, then don’t even enter the ring.”

Madonna 'Banned' By Movie Chain Over Alleged Texting IncidentThe Alamo Drafthouse movie theater chain has banned Madonna from its theaters after reports that the Queen of Pop was texting during a New York Film Festival screening of 12 Years a Slave.
Her Madgesty attended the festival's Tuesday screening of Fox Searchlight's Oscar hopeful, posing for photos with director Steve McQueen.
During the film, though, she was reportedly texting and lashed out at a fellow audience member who tried to get her to stop.
According to several outlets, film critic Charles Taylor shared the following story from an audience member at Tuesday's screening:
"Tonight at the New York Film Festival premiere of '12 Years A Slave' (a masterpiece, by the way), I sat behind the unholy trifecta of Jason Ritter, J. Alexander from 'America's Next Top Model,' and Michael K. Williams from 'The Wire.'
"Plus, a mysterious blonde in black lace gloves who wouldn't stop texting on her Blackberry throughout the first half of the movie. Eventually, a woman next to me tapped her on the shoulder and told her to put her phone away, and the blonde hissed back, 'It's for business... ENSLAVER!' I turned to the shoulder tapper and loudly said, 'THANKS!' and gave her a thumbs up.
"The rest of the movie, I kept thinking about how I wanted to tell the blonde what a disgrace she was. During the standing ovation, the blonde ducked out and Jason Ritter turned around to make commiserating eye contact, as J. Alexander asked, 'Who WAS that?!' Jason then looked down at the floor. His eyes got wide, and he picked up an envelope and showed it to us and J. And it said: '2 screening tix MADONNA.' And sure enough, we looked to the side of the theater and standing against the wall in black lace gloves was Madonna. The worst person in America."
