We love us some Janet Jackson here at TGJ, but her ‘Unbreakable’ era hasn’t quite lived up to its title. At least not yet.
Indeed, the campaign has been quite the rollercoaster; a #1 album and an A/C chart-topping single launched the project. Yet, soon after postponements to its accompanying tour unhinged things and urgent surgery brought the entire US production to an abrupt halt.
And while said American dates have all been rescheduled (and even added to), it’s bad news for European fans.
The latest leg of the trek was supposed to kick off in Birmingham, England on March 30th and play to London and other major Euro cities thereafter.
However, in an announcement by Ticketmaster today, it has been confirmed that the dates have been cancelled.
Their statement below…
Hi there,
We’re sorry! This tour has been postponed…
The event organizers have been in touch to let us know that, due to scheduling difficulties, they’ve had to postpone The ‘Unbreakable’ Tour at the following venues:
30 March 2016: Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
31 March 2016: The O2, London
4 April 2016: The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
5 April 2016: Manchester Arena
It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders, you don’t need to do a thing – you’ll see a credit onto the card you used within 15 days.
If you have any questions for us, there’s lots of information in our FAQs. If what you’re looking for isn’t quite covered, get in touch with one of the team by sending your question through the helpdesk.
We’re sorry for any disappointment caused.

The BBC went on to confirm that the rest of the Euro leg is also in the same predicament.
Again, we love us some Ms. Jackson, but we’re hoping she addresses this soon. Because, whichever it’s diced or sliced, it’s not a good look.
For the sake of the fans, we’re crossing our fingers it’s a “new dates soon” situation.
