And then Donnie was on the news talking about Michael. Apparently they had hoped to meet Michael because they were rehearsing in the same building in the weeks before his death

Michael Jackson will be buried on Aug. 29, the date that would have been his 51st birthday, publicists for the Jackson family said on Tuesday morning in a news release. The announcement confirms remarks made earlier this week by Mr. Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, who said in interviews that the singer would be laid to rest on that date. In its release, the publicity firm Sunshine, Sachs & Associates said that Michael Jackson would be buried on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, at Holly Terrace in the Grand Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif. The release said that the burial ceremony would private and limited to the Jackson family and close friends, but that there would be nearby accommodations for the news media. The Jackson family added that it “once again wishes to express its gratitude to Michael’s fans around the world for their support during these difficult times.” Mr. Jackson died on June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest, though the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has not yet released the results of its investigation into his death. The singer was honored at a public memorial held on July 7 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/20...-are-revealed/

Michael Jackson brother Tito confirms UK solo shows in tribute to Jacko
Michael Jackson's brother Tito Jackson has just confirmed details of UK solo dates in which he'll pay tribute to his younger sibling.
Tito, who was also one of the founding members of the Jackson 5, will also be joined onstage by other members of the Jackson family, though exactly who hasn't been confirmed as yet.
It's most likely going to someone like Jermaine rather than Janet, however, as the Tito dates aren't headlining - he's supporting soul legend Gladys Knight on her farewell tour.
Tito is being backed by a 14-piece band and will perform songs penned by both Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5.
However, he'll also be taking the opportunity to plug brand new tracks from his forthcoming album.
Tito said: "The UK was a very special place to my brother Michael and I’m so excited to be able to pay my respect to his fans there. To be able to do this whilst supporting our dear friend Gladys is a complete blessing."
He continued: "Not many people know this, but it was actually Gladys who introduced my brothers and I to Berry Gordy which led to our signing to Motown Records and the rest, as they say, is history."
The dates kick off in Manchester on October 6. SOURCE: www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2009/08/20/michael-jackson-brother-tito-confirms-uk-solo-shows-in-tribute-to-jacko-115875-21610846/

Thanks for the website. I tried to sign up for info but it kept asking for a zip code and we have postal codes over here in the UK so it didn't work. Does anyone know if they're planning on releasing the This Is It film on the same day in the UK as in the US?

2 Months ago, my big sister called me in the night and say "Michael is dead"...2 Months without my first big love and 2 Months with sadness about his dead. Because all the news on tv Michael is so real and the faul,t of some people who want to stand 5 minutes in the TV, that every day came new rumors about him...For me and my big sisters Michael was an Icon and more...Michael was something like a Family Member to us... I hope that the Media don´t put new rumors in the World about...But thats are people who don´t estimate the King of Pop...
REST IN PEACE MICHAEL::::I LOVE YOU::::

It is the 28th worldwide. I couldn't find any other information if it's different for other countries.
