Guys, I need some help.
Many years ago, when HIStory came out, I recall Michael performing Earth Song on what I think was an NAACP telethon or something and it was the only performance that I can recall that when he gets to the part where he starts "What about us..." etc that he's on a bridge and there are fireworks that go off on both sides and he's raised up on the bridge in the middle section. I have not seen it since then and I really want to see it again! So if any of ya'll know what performance I am talking about please tell me!! LOL

A bejeweled white glove Michael Jackson tossed to an Australian fan more than a decade ago sold at auction Sunday for 57,600 Australian dollars ($48,400), almost twice the estimated selling price.Warwick Stone, a buyer for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, beat out five other bidders for the late King of Pop's glove, said Charlotte Stanes, spokeswoman for the Melbourne auction house Bonhams and Goodman. The estimated selling price before the auction was AU$30,000. "We are very happy with the result," Stanes said. "It's the first glove we know about in Australia." Bonhams and Goodman said it was the first auction of a Michael Jackson glove since his death on June 25 this year at age 50. Jackson visited Australia in 1996 as part of his HIStory world tour. While in Sydney, he attended the Australian premiere for the film "Ghosts," in which he had a starring role. At the end of the screening, he tossed the glove at audience member Bill Hibble, who has since died, said national head of collectables Giles Moon ...THATS HOW YOU DO IT MIKE...KEEP SHUTTING YOUR HATERZ UP FROM THE GRAVE...I LOVE IT!!!

Anyone know if this is an actual movie poster for the This Is It film? I saw it on the Janet-Xone forum. I also found this great link in one of the threads on MJ's official forum. I can't understand it but I can read the song titles and look at the pretty pictures. lol (The link is to a site that has some cool photos of the set design that was to be used for his shows.) www.mjlegend.com/?p=2904

Michael Jackson tribute concert lineup announced
Mary J Blige, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole are among the artists who will perform at a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Austria later this month.
Jermaine Jackson, the late singer's brother, confirmed details of the event during a promotional video filmed at the imperial Schönbrunn palace in Vienna, where the concert will take place on 26 September.
"Michael would have loved this event because he was fascinated by castles and palaces – their elegance, history and legends," said Jermaine. Actress Angela Bassett is also set to make an appearance, as well as German boy-band US5 and Senegalese-American singer Akon. Performers are expected to cover Jackson's greatest hits at the concert, which organisers are billing as the main triibute event to the late King of Pop.
The lineup also includes singer Chris Brown, who was recently given five years' probation and community service for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown has often said he owes his career to Jackson, whose dancing style the 20-year-old has often emulated.
Jermaine Jackson said the evening would be a "very special tribute" to his brother's "unforgettable music, as well as shedding light on this wonderful humanitarian". The Jackson family are expected to attend the concert, along with an audience of 65,000 fans. Organisers are also claiming the concert will be broadcast live to approximately one billion people worldwide.
Jackson quoted his brother Michael as having once said: "If you enter this world knowing you were loved, and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with." SOURCE: www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/sep/08/michael-jackson-tribute-concert-lineup

I feel like the American fans are always forgotten because people think his fan base decreased drastically after all of his troubles in the media. Don't forget that the man was from Gary, Indiana! haha

*********To ALL Fans of MJ*********** ****MY MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE ANTHEM***** when Michael Passed away I was very hurt and sad but then all of a sudden I became inspired and God helped me write this song that flowed out of me for Michael. I was seeing all of the hurtful things the news media was saying and I wanted to put my voice as a fan out there of what he meant to us. So if you all would be kind enough please help me spread this song so that the world will know that although he has passed he is "Gone but not forgotten" spread the word !!
