Madonna Joins Billionaire's Club! Madonna's a billionaire now, according to a new report in the New York Post. Her net worth jumped after her MDNA Tour brought in a whopping $305,158,363, making it the highest-grossing tour of 2012. That's not counting the $75 million in merch sales, nor does it include the $10 million in TV and DVD rights that came with the 88-stop jaunt around the globe. The news comes amid a strong few months for the singer. Madonna made a bold statement at this year's GLAAD Awards, where she arrived to present Anderson Cooper with an award in full cub scout regalia. The costume was a comment on the Boy Scouts of America's gay ban, and drew the ire of the likes of Rick Perry. Despite plenty of controversy and negative press, the singer continues to prove her staying power. In addition to the tour, "MDNA" notched a No. 1 Billboard debut. According to Womens' Wear Daily, the 54-year-old singer's net worth had hovered around $700 million for some time. Source

Madonna Dumps Kabbalah From Managing Her ‘Raising Malawi’ Charity Madonna has informed the United States government that the charitable organization she runs has severed all its ties with the controversial religion she practices, Kaballah. The pop superstar, 54, filed a federal tax document outlining how Raising Malawi, the non-profit organization that supports impoverished children in the African nation, dumped its Kabballah backed board of directors. Instead, the “Material Girl” has installed her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, as one of their replacements, RadarOnline.com has confirmed. The Los Angeles-based Kabbalah Centre International, an organization devoted to Jewish mysticism, had previously managed Raising Malawi and was blamed for spending $3.8 million on a project that never came to fruition. Kaballah “ceased to be a supporting organization” for Raising Malawi on March 16, 2011, it’s revealed. One of those axed from the organization was the man who co-founded Raising Malawi with Madonna in 2006, Michael Berg, who is also a co-director of the Kabbalah Centre. For the past 17 years, Madonna has been Kabbalah’s most high profile and dedicated follower, alongside Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. Source

Madonna in Bitter Clash With Malawi President Calling recent comments by Malawi's president "lies," Madonna has pushed back at bitter criticism from officials of her recent trip to the southern African nation to view progress of her humanitarian organization, Raising Malawi. "I'm saddened that Malawi's President Joyce [Banda] has chosen to release lies about what we've accomplished, my intentions, how I personally conducted myself while visiting Malawi and other untruths," Madonna said in a statement released Thursday. "I have no intentions of being distracted by these ridiculous allegations."Those claims from President Banda are contained in a lengthy, sarcasm-soaked 11-point press release, released on Wednesday. In it, Banda accuses Madonna of demanding VIP treatment while traveling there -- she apparently had to wait in a normal security line at the airport -- and alleges that the singer is not being truthful about the nature of her work. "Among the many things that Madonna needs to learn as a matter of urgency is the decency of telling the truth," the statement reads. "For her to tell the whole world that she is building schools in Malawi when she has actually only contributed to the construction of classrooms is not compatible with manners of someone who thinks she deserves to be revered with state grandeur."A release from Madonna's rep explains that Raising Malawi originally intended to build an academy in the struggling nation, but "realized that a more sustainable model would be to build smaller schools in villages around the country" via a partnership with buildOn. The catalyst for the exchange is thought to be Banda's sister, Anjimile Mtila-Oponyo, who was fired by Raising Malawi due to "organizational problems," according to Madonna's statement. The statement from the president's office denies that Banda's beef with Madonna stems from her sister's firing. Source

Madonna’s Painting Sells at Auction for $7.2 Million A French painting owned by Madonna has sold at a New York City auction for more than $7 million. Sotheby's auction house hasn't said who bought Fernand Leger's "Three Women at the Red Table" for $7.2 million on Tuesday. The abstract work had a pre-sale estimate of $5 million to $7 million. Proceeds of the sale will benefit the Ray of Light Foundation, which supports girls' education in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries. Madonna says she wanted to "trade something valuable for something invaluable" in countries where female education is rare or nonexistent. She bought the work at Sotheby's in 1990 for $3.4 million. Leger created the work in 1921 as part of a series depicting women with still-life compositions. Source

Madonna's ‘MDNA Tour’ Premieres on EPIX in June! When she hasn’t been working on her #secretproject with Steven Klein and getting chummy with Frank Ocean, Katy Perry and Sky Ferreira at the MET Gala (and showing up everyone in the building by actually knowing the definition of “punk”), Madonna has been working her minions to the bone preparing her upcoming MDNA Tour DVD, which was filmed in Miami last year—and it’s all finally coming together. Much like Britney‘s 'Femme Fatale Tour' premiere in 2011, the Queen of Everything will be debuting her long-awaited MDNA Tour concert footage on EPIX on June 22nd at 8 PM. Above is the concert poster featuring MDNA in “Girl Gone Wild” mode, complete with an all-too fitting tagline: “All hail the Queen.”There’s been no trailer released just yet, however a tiny snippet of official footage from the show premiered during an interview with Madonna’s trainer on 'Good Morning America' in February. And speaking of touring, did you know she’s about to be honored as the Top Touring Artist at the Billboard Music Awards next week? Source

Madonna's Pre Met Ball Vacuum Photo Causes Massive Spike In Sales Before she hit the Met Ball in a full black wig and tartan ensemble, Madonna Instagrammed this snap of herself with the caption, "Cleaning up before the Met Ball."According to our sources, the star was using a Miele S4 vacuum hose to make sure her bathroom was in tip top shape before she hit the red carpet. Weirdly, Miele have seen a dramatic increase in sales calls for this particular model - so much so that the brand is thinking about developing a new range of vacuums in Madge's honor! Miele's Marketing Director, Dominic Worlsey, said, "Miele has seen vacuum sales calls more than double since Madonna posted the photo. We've had so much interest that we've contacted her as a potential brand ambassador to launch the 'Immaculate Collection' of Miele vacuums. "Inspired by the fashion forward icon, the range could emulate Madonna's most unforgettable outfits; from a pink Material Girl design, to an edgy look reminiscent of her Jean Paul Gaultier pointy braziers.'"Source
